Karma Bragg, President
Karma represents Division VI District Employees - She has been a District Employee for Custer Soil and Water Conservation District since 1992. She has been involved in agriculture in the Challis, Idaho area most of her life and enjoys working with participants addressing all areas of natural resource issues. Karma has been an active member of IDEA for the past 13 years and appreciates the support of her District Board in allowing her to serve as IDEA Director. Karma and her husband have two grown daughters and a son and she loves gardening, swimming and most outdoor activities.
Laurie McCall, Vice President -- Barbara Astle, Alternate
Laurie represents Division IV District Employees - She began with the Minidoka Soil and Water Conservation District in September 1998 and in March 1999 became the Administrative Assistant for the East and West Cassia Soil and Water Conservation Districts. Laurie is currently the only District Employee in Idaho working for three districts. Laurie and her husband farm with his dad and brother. They have 3 daughters, one son and one grandson. Laurie and her husband are both active 4-H leaders. She enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Sherry Klaus, Secretary-- Linda O'Hare, Alternate
Sherry has worked for the Benewah SWCD since September 2006 after seven years doing books for the local John Deere dealership. Conservation and environmental issues have been very important to her since she worked in Alaska for restoration engineers on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline so she loves working for the District. She has been involved in agriculture since 1981 and although no longer actively participating on the family farm, still manages her family’s farming interests. She and her husband have six children between them and two grandchildren. She loves golf, theatre, gardening, and traveling. She is very excited to join the other IDEA directors as the Division I representative.

Diane Miller, Treasurer-- Charlene Wimpy, Alternate
Diane has worked with the Ada Soil and Water Conservation District since February 2002. Being new to all of this, Diane has enjoyed learning about conservation, conservation districts, and working with her Board and District Conservationist. She has also enjoyed being a member of IDEA, meeting district employees throughout the state and learning of their ideas and accomplishments. She hopes to improve on her district accomplishments as she learns more each year. Diane is a transplant from California, living with her daughter in Boise, and has a son in San Francisco.
